James and Beverly Boyd

James E. Boyd, president of Boyd Properties,Inc. is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Management. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Georgia and a former Vice President of the Adams/Cates Company, now known as Grub Ellis/Adams Cates. Mr. Boyd is a life member of the Atlanta Real Estate Board's Million Dollar Club and is a former professional athlete. James oversees development, sales and leasing for Boyd Properties.

Beverly S. Boyd, Vice President is the wife of James and the company's chief financial and public relations officer. Beverly is also involved in all phases of Boyd Properties management, leasing and development. She is a former regional manager of the J. C. Penny Co.

Boyd Properties, Inc. Realtors, was established in 1973 by its current president James E. Boyd and has a distinctive track record in luxury single family homes, shopping, apartments, office buildings and restaurants. Some Atlanta notables are: The former Headgerose Heights Inn Restaurant in Buckhead, The Balconies Shopping Center, The 480 East Paces Ferry Rd. Office Building (American Software) Morrowood Garden Apartments, and the "1993 Super Luxury Community of the Year" Award for Spivey Orchard Estates.

Most recently Boyd Properties has begun building luxury homes in North Georgia's Big Canoe 7700 acre gated community, Holly Springs, Buckhead and co-developing a 13.5 acre tract in Alpharetta for eleven luxury homes. Also underway are plans for land holdings in Henry County and Downtown Atlanta.
